Organika House – Senses of Touch, Smell, Sight and Hearing
When Miss Sririta Jensen founded Organika House, she intended to establish an oasis-like environment in which visitors can balance their life and soul from the hectic world through the extraordinary power of holistic aromatherapies, using only top-notch, hand-picked natural ingredients from the Mother Earth. If you have visited The Botanical Garden of Curitiba, one of the top ten glasshouses in the world, you will definitely find the same charm emanated within Organika House, an elegant white glasshouse decorated with green trees and filled with soothing scent. Complemented with mellow music and natural sunlight, Organika House is an ideal venue for relaxation and rejuvenation. Once you step into Organika House, your weariness and exhaustion will surely be obliterated through the natural scents and feeling that refresh your senses of touch, smell, sight and hearing all at the same time.
Organika House – Sense of Taste
To Miss Jensen, an all-round therapy for wellbeing should include all five senses. That’s why she has introduced dining experience at Organika House to satisfy people like us, the Gourmet Bangkok team, who believe the sense of taste is an ultimate elixir to restore good moods. Organika House has already been receiving plausible reviews and compliments for their afternoon tea. Now, dinner is also introduced at Organika House. The dedication to using only natural and organic ingredients in the cuisine at Organika House is evidenced and experienced. From the drink menu to dessert, organic produce is carefully sourced to reiterate the belief of Organika House in natural therapy. We were thrilled to have been invited to experience an exclusive dinner, Taste of Scents, at Organika House. Despite the exclusive dinner menu, we tried Organika’s unique cocktails and hearty serving of delicious dessert.
Watch our dining experience at Organika House:
A. Organika House – Taste of Scents
(1) Crab Cake
(2) Hokkaido Scallop – Pan seared scallop served with cauliflower puree, parmesan chips
(3) Mushroom Truffle Soup – Fresh Shiitaki mushroom soup infused with black truffle and with mushroom ravioli
The natural aroma of black truffle was very pleasing to the sense of smell, it stimulated our appetite for the soup. The mushroom ravioli was lovely; the mouthfeel was smooth and flavorful. The soup would have tasted even more delicious if it was served hot to us.
(4) Chilled Angel Prawn – Angel hair pasta tossed with seaweed and Yuzu dressing, garnish with salmon roe
This dish was quite refreshing especially because of the sourness from the dressing made of a citrus fruit in Japan- yuzu. The angel hair was al dente and its taste was richer when eating with the seaweed, a bite of fresh crunchy prawn and some salmon roe.
(5) Two choices for the main course:
Either (a) Salmon & Dill – Slow cooked salmon roll with egg white and yolk, dill sauce
Or (b) Beef Mushroom Gratin – Pan roasted Australian beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon, topped with mushroom gratin with cheese, truffle potatoes, and red wine sauce
Desserts here were tempting. Even you are not a sweets person, I am pretty sure you could hardly resist the charm of the desserts. Don’t forget to order a sweet wine to pair with your dessert! It’s a perfect addition to your dinner experience. Highly recommend you to try their Apple Crumble.
(7) Organika Hot Tea or Coffee
B. Organika House – Special Drinks
After a relaxing aromatherapy at Organika House, try their unique special drinks made of organic ingredients. The delight that you will get not only comes from the taste, it also comes with an eye-pleasing presentation of the drink. Each drink aims to soothe and refresh you!
If you travel to Bangkok and would like to have a one stop service of aromatherapy, refreshing healthy drinks, afternoon tea or dinner, Organika House is our answer. We highly recommend Organika House to you all.
